WWE Tag Team Viciously Splits

Some wrestling tag teams last for years and years and some just weren’t to be and one WWE partnership fell into that latter category on NXT.

Shayna Baszler and Natalya have recently been part of NXT with Natalya backing up Karmen Petrovic while Baszler had found a protégé in another MMA talent turned pro wrestler, Lola Vice.

The main event of the 21st of May edition of NXT saw the four women take part in a tag team match. Petrovic was able to pick up the win for her and Natalya after they used the famed Hart Attack finisher. After the bout, Baszler helped Lola Vice to her feet but was immediately clocked with a huge roundhouse kick.

While Vice danced on the outside of the ring, Shayna Baszler got back to her feet and ended up locking her partner in the Kirifuda Clutch. Referees and security had to pull the women apart several times before NXT General Manager Ava appeared to make a match between Vice and Baszler at WWE NXT Battleground.

WWE Star Demands Huge Stipulation Match

Baszler demanded that the match be held under NXT Underground rules which might be fitting as the event will be held in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Shayna Baszler and her regular WWE main roster tag team partner Zoey Stark had a big win on Raw as they were victorious in a four-way tag team match to become the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship currently held by Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
