WWE Tag Team Make Raw Debut

The recent WWE Draft mixed things up on the Raw and SmackDown brands but it also provided an opportunity for several NXT stars to make the step up to the main roster.

Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter made the step up when they were drafted to Raw and now the pair have made their in-ring debut together on the red brand.

On Raw in Hartford, CT WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were backstage complaining about the need for proper competition when they were confronted by Chance and Carter. Initially, the champions were dismissive of the newcomers but they ended up accepting their challenge to meet them in the ring.

The match between the two teams might have been more competitive than the champions initially thought but in the end, they had too much for Carter and Chance with Shayna Baszler forcing Kayden Carter into submission to win the match.

Also on Raw, there were two more WWE Superstars who booked their place in the Money In The Bank ladder match when the event comes to London, England on July 1st. Becky Lynch defeated Sonya Deville to make it to the women’s MITB bout while later in the night Zoey Stark also joined her by defeating Natalya.
