The WWE SummerSlam lineup has been announced with a new grudge match added to the show.

For the first time, WWE SummerSlam will take place over two nights on Saturday, August 2nd, and Sunday, August 3rd, from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The event starts at 6 p.m. ET on both nights.

In a video on WWE’s YouTube channel hosted by Sam Roberts and Megan Morant, the lineup was announced for both nights. In addition to that, a grudge match between Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross has been added to SummerSlam as well.

At WWE Night of Champions, Sami Zayn beat Karrion Kross. When they had a rematch on the July 14th edition of Raw, Kross got the win over Zayn thanks to some help from his wife Scarlett. The two men will have a third match at SummerSlam.

What SummerSlam Matches Will Take Place On Saturday And Sunday?

The video hosted by Roberts and Morant also revealed when the matches will take place. The order in which they were displayed will be shown below.

Saturday, August 2nd Matches:

  • Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed
  • WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill
  • Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

They did not announce which match would be the main event, but the Gunther/CM Punk match is likely to be the main event. However, it could also be the Roman Reigns/Jey Uso tag match against Bron Breakker/Bronson Reed, as Reigns has headlined many shows in his career.

Sunday, August 3rd Matches
