WWE Add Huge Stipulation To Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre Title Match
A new stipulation has been added to the World Heavyweight Championship match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle.
Drew McIntyre won and lost the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 in what could best be described as a mixed night for the star. McIntyre won the title from Seth Rollins but after getting too cocky in his celebrations in front of CM Punk, Punk lashed out allowing Damian Priest to cash in his Money In The Bank contract to leave Philadelphia with the title.
McIntyre has continued his war of words with Punk despite both men being out of action – CM Punk is a long way off returning to the ring while Drew McIntyre will be competing at Clash at the Castle in his native Scotland where he’ll challenge Damian Priest for his title.
After being screwed out of the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at the original Clash at the Castle by The Bloodline, McIntyre has taken some steps to ensure he doesn’t suffer a similar fate in Glasgow.
Judgment Day Banned From WWE Clash At The Castle Title Match
On Raw in Toledo, a match was made for the main event between Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor and if McIntyre was successful then The Bloodline would be banned from ringside for his title match with Damian Priest. In the end, that’s exactly what happened meaning Priest won’t have his teammates by his side as he faces a hostile environment like no other in Scotland.
However, that doesn’t mean that other people outside of the group can’t turn up and CM Punk has vowed to break Drew McIntyre’s heart again.
