WWE Stars React To Missing Title Tournament
The WWE Draft meant all change on Raw and SmackDown but also all change on NXT after the developmental brand lost several stars to the main roster.
NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell was one of those drafted to Raw and as a result, has vacated the NXT Women’s Title with a tournament to be held beginning on May 9th to crown a new champion.
WWE has now revealed the brackets for the tournament with Gigi Dolin, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez, Jacy Jayne, Lyra Valkyria, Kiana James, Fallon Henley, and Cora Jade all taking part.
Dolin will face Stratton in the first round on the same side of the draw which sees her former Toxic Attraction partner Jacy Jayne face former champion Roxanne Perez. On the other side of the bracket, Lyra Valkyria takes on Kiana James while Fallon Henley faces Cora Jade.
Ivy Nile took to social media to indicate her displeasure at missing out on the tournament with a simple “…” caption while Chase U’s Thea Hail had similar thoughts in a now-deleted Tweet.

The new NXT Women’s Champion will be crowned at Battleground which takes place on the 28th of May in Lowell, Massachusetts. That will be one night after another tournament is complete in WWE with the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion being crowned at Night of Champions on May 27th.
