WWE Stars Getting “Positive Reaction Backstage” Despite Lack Of TV Bouts

WWE Logo over Roster

The Maximum Male Models might not have competed on WWE main roster television in quite some time but they are still getting rave reviews backstage.

The last time Mace and Mansoor teamed up on WWE main roster television was back in January 2023 when they lost to Legado del Fantasma. Despite being a unit since the summer of 2022, the team known as the Maximum Male Models have only teamed together on main roster TV five times, losing all of those bouts.

The team remains a firm fixture on WWE’s live events, however, and those appearances could be the basis of a new report indicating that the two stars are well thought of backstage.

WRKD Wrestling reported that despite their TV absence, there have been plenty of positive responses to Mace and Mansoor’s work in recent weeks:

“While they haven’t wrestled on TV in months, the Maximum Male Models (@MACEtheWRESTLER/@suavemansoor) have gotten a positive response backstage during house events, with those behind the scenes hoping that the team’s character work picks up steam with the live crowds. #WWERaw”

The team’s manager Maxxine Dupri was on Raw in Jacksonville by the side of Otis as he took on Mustafa Ali. The tug of war between Dupri and Otis’ tag team partner Chad Gable continued for the former Mr. Money In The Bank which allowed Ali to pick up the win.
