WWE Stars Ready For New Heel Faction After Shock Raw Turn
After a big heel turn at the end of Monday Night Raw, it now seems a new faction is on its way to WWE’s red brand.
Sami Zayn ended the historic Intercontinental Title reign of Gunther at WrestleMania 40 in one of the biggest wins of his career. But as champion, there is never too long to celebrate in WWE and on Raw in Montreal, Zayn had his first defence of the gold against Chad Gable.
That match took place in Sami Zayn’s hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Zayn entered the arena through the crowd to a raucous reception and the two men put on a wrestling clinic. Ultimately, Sami Zayn picked up the win to retain his gold.
Gable raised Sami Zayn’s hand after the match but as the champion hugged his wife at ringside, Gable snatched him with a vicious German suplex as he turned on the star. Chad Gable followed that up with a sickening ankle lock through the ropes as the crowd showered him boos.
Chad Gable To Lead New WWE Faction?
Chad Gable was seen earlier in the night training for the match with The Creed Brothers and now Julius Creed has taken to social media to indicate that a new faction could be on its way to Raw as he wrote:
Ready. Willing. And…
Ready.
Willing.
And…

Many fans online are looking forward to the prospect of Gable joining up with The Creeds and have drawn parallels with Team Angle. That faction saw Kurt Angle lead the trio made up of himself, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas bringing the fight to SmackDown in the early 2000s.
