WWE Stars Heading To Japan For Famous Tournament

Two WWE Superstars are headed to Japan to compete in this years NOAH N-1 Victory tournament.

The prestigious annual round-robin tournament initially launched in 2010 as the Global League before undergoing a name change to N-1 Victory in 2019.

Previous winners include the likes of Katsuhiko Nakajima and Takeshi Morishima with the most recent incarnation being won by Go Shiozaki on 3rd September 2023 at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium.

Heading to Japan for the 2024 edition of N-1 are NXT Superstars Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights. Briggs will battle in the tournament’s ‘A Block’, whilst Heights will compete in ‘B Block’.

The tournament will begin on 4th August, with the final once again taking place in Osaka on 1st September.

WWE Superstar Named As Dream Opponent By Japanese Legend

Another top name in Japanese wrestling is Kenta, who wrestled in WWE under the name Hideo Itami between 2014 and 2019.

Despite failing to match the heights of his Japanese success with the company, Kenta continues to keep a close eye on WWE and recently revealed that Cody Rhodes was his dream opponent.
