WWE Stars Frustrated By Ticket Issues
WWE is on fire in a way not seen in decades but with the company enjoying record revenue and creative successes, this has come at a cost for its stars.
WWE recently boasted soaring revenue in recent financial reports as the company continues to enjoy a wave of success under the creative direction of Triple H.
The company has spent much of 2024 putting on sold out shows across the world as premium live events have come to Australia, France, Scotland, Germany, Canada, and Saudi Arabia. But it seems this success is causing some headaches behind the scenes.
WWE Frustrated By Ticket Issues
Fightful Select has reported that as ticket prices for WWE shows have reached an all-time high, comp tickets for stars in the company to dish out to friends and family have been limited. This has led to the company now giving talent a pre-sale link to pass on to friends and family to allow them to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public and this has caused a great deal of frustration among several WWE talents.
One higher-up in WWE claimed the situation was a product of WWE’s success while also noting that the company is using fewer seat fillers to make the crowd look full at all times on camera.
The report noted that the process for receiving comps sees talent send in requests and if granted they are sent confirmation via email. One star expressed annoyance that there was no written information given to talent about the change. Another talent also noted that they had comp tickets approved months before a show and on the week it was due to be held, they were asked to provide credit card details to pay for them.
