WWE Star’s Boyfriend Tries Out For Company

WWE continues to be a family affair.

Ahead of SummerSlam, WWE held its latest round of try-outs as a new batch of athletes looked to make their way to WrestleMania. Away from the athletes involved, there was an interesting observer in the form of CM Punk who was running the rule over the hopefuls with NXT boss Shawn Michaels.

Among the athletes involved was the son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, Elijah, and Naoufal Abouelhouda who is the boyfriend of Katana Chance.

In the not-to-distant past, the try-outs have turned out to be hugely beneficial for the company with Australian star Delta signing a contract to join NXT after a workout during Elimination Chamber week in February.

Jacob Henry Signs With WWE

Ahead of the try-outs Jacob Henry announced he’d signed with WWE. Henry is the son of Hall of Famer and former World Champion Mark Henry.

Henry has enjoyed a fine athletic career to date, competing in football, wrestling, and track and field while at Lake Travis High School. Meanwhile, in more recent times, he’s committed to wrestling for the University of Oklahoma.

There’s no word on Henry’s immediate plans, and whether he will finish up his collegiate career before starting with WWE.
