WWE Stars React To AEW’s Emotional Tribute To Jay Briscoe

Several WWE Superstars were among the many from the wrestling world who offered their reaction to the tribute to Jay Briscoe on AEW Dynamite.

On January 17^th, 2023, the wrestling world was stunned to learn that Jamin Pugh, a.k.a. Jay Briscoe, died in a car crash at 38 years old. Since then, tributes have poured in from all over the world and the wrestling industry has come together to honor the fallen wrestler and devoted father.

After apparently originally being blocked by Warner Bros. Discovery from airing a tribute to Briscoe, the 25th of January edition of the show did just that as Jay’s tag team partner and brother Mark Briscoe took to the ring to face another Ring of Honor stalwart, Jay Lethal, in the main event.

In a highly entertaining match, Briscoe picked up the win when he dropped Lethal with his brother’s Jay Driller. Briscoe then spoke directly into the ringside camera as he told his brother “Jamin, I love you.”

Several WWE stars were among those sharing in an outpouring of grief and love for Jay Briscoe with many responding to the tribute video that was also shown on Dynamite.
