WWE Star Eyes WrestleMania Main Event Against CM Punk

A WWE star wants to face CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania. The star in question is Roxanne Perez.

Punk and Perez have a close relationship in WWE. Perez has been a huge fan of CM Punk since her childhood. She even regards The Second City Saint as her wrestling father.

The Judgment Day member recently appeared for an interview on Metro, where she was asked which male wrestler she’d like to face in an inter-gender match. She replied that she’d love to face her childhood hero, Punk, in the main event of WrestleMania.

“Honestly, probably CM Punk, because he was my favorite growing up… If I had the chance to wrestle someone, main event WrestleMania with a male wrestler, it would definitely 100% be CM Punk.” [H/T Metro]

Roxanne Perez On CM Punk And AJ Lee

A few days ago, Roxxane Perez had an interview with Going Ringside, where she broke her heel to address her backstage relationship with her wrestling parents, CM Punk and AJ Lee. She stated that the real-life couple is “just awesome to be around.”

“The storylines that they created were some of my favorite to watch growing up. So to now have them there, and for them to just be people that I can turn to whenever I need advice or need help or anything… yeah, they’re just—they’re amazing.”

“Oh, it definitely went well. And I tell them that a lot, where I’m like, ‘Thank you for making that quote ‘never meet your hero’ so untrue,’ because they’re just awesome. They’re just awesome to be around.” [H/T: Ringside News]
