WWE Star Won’t Wrestle Again In 2025
A WWE Raw star reportedly won’t be back in action until 2016.
On the May 19 edition of Monday Night Raw, Zoey Stark met Rhea Ripley and the returning Kairi Sane in Triple Threat action. The winner of the match would advance to the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
However, disaster struck when Stark attempted a missile dropkick, only to land awkwardly, immediately screaming in agony.
The star was quickly attended to by medical staff and taken backstage, turning the match into a one-on-one clash between Ripley and Sane.
In a post on social media, Zoey Stark later thanks fans and fellow wrestlers for their support.
Zoey Stark Won’t Return To WWE In 2025
According to a new report from Fightful Select, there’s a very real expectation within WWE that Stark won’t be available for the rest of 2025. The prevailing belief is that the star has suffered a tear that will require surgery, although this and the severity of the injury haven’t been officially confirmed.
Unsurprisingly, with Stark injured, major changes were made to her match with Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley, totally on the fly. As noted by one report, Ripley was always planned to win, but she was supposed to pin Stark to claim that win. However, Stark’s injury meant that Sane was pinned on her first night back after her own injury-enforced absence to the annoyance of many online.
Everyone at TJR Wrestling would like to wish Zoey Stark a speedy recovery.
