WWE Star Wants To Team With Rapper Lil Uzi Vert
One top star wants to get Lil Uzi Vert into a WWE ring.
Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Uzi Vert is no stranger to WWE, having been part of The Usos entrance at Wrestlemania 39, playing them to the ring ahead of their main event match against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Continuing the WWE connection, in 2023 they paid homage to Shinsuke Nakamura when they sampled the King of Strong Style’s theme for the track ‘Nakamura’ on the Pink Tape album.
Now, Liv Morgan wants to get them to take the next step in wrestling, and compete in the ring. During a recent edition of Open Thoughts, Funny Marco asked Morgan to talk about a famous contact she had on her phone, and the star chose Vert.
“Maybe Lil Uzi. He’s cool. He’s cool.”
When asked if she thought the star would make a good wrestler, she agreed, saying they would likely be like Rey Mysterio in the ring before saying she’d love to team with them.
“He definitely could, I feel like he’d be so fast like very luchador, Rey Mysterio type, just out quick everyone. I’d love to be a tag team, Uzi, let’s tag team.”
With Vert recently claiming their upcoming album, LUV Is Rage 3, would be their last, the star following in the footsteps of celebrities like Bad Bunny and Logan Paul seems far from impossible.
Liv Morgan Opens Up About Injury That Left Her Off WWE TV
In July 2023, Morgan was taken out of action when she was attacked by Rhea Ripley on an episode of Raw. The assault was used to write her off TV as she had reportedly suffered a real-life shoulder injury.
Recently, Liv Morgan detailed the surgery and rehab she had to go through to recover from the injury and explained that things would have taken a lot longer if she had decided against going under the knife.
