WWE Star Wants Intergender Match Following Raw

One WWE star was paying close attention to Monday Night Raw and renewed calls for them to have their own intergender match.

On Raw in Des Moines, Iowa, The Judgment Day was in action as Damian Priest and Finn Balor teamed up to face The Street Profits. With Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio taking up position on the outside, Akira Tozawa accompanied The Profits to the ring to try and even up the score.

Tozawa proved pivotal late on as he threw a drink in Mysterio’s face which distracted Balor long enough for Montez Ford to roll him up for the win. Angered at Tozawa, Rhea Ripley challenged him to an impromptu match, punching him in the face as she made her challenge. What resulted was nothing more than a squash match with Ripley finally putting away her opponent with The Riptide.

Many noted that this was the first proper intergender match on WWE television in many years but NXT Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods, clearly hopes the trend continues.

Taking to social media, Woods reflected on his early 2021 feud with RETRIBUTION which saw him amass a 2-2 record against the male members of the group. Woods renewed his calls for a rubber match against RECKONING – who is better known as Mia Yim:

Hold on. Wait. So do I finally get to finish out the series against #Retribution?!?!? DO I FINALLY GET TO FACE RECKONING?!?”
