WWE Star Viciously Turns On Partner In Shock Heel Turn

One WWE star has lashed out at his own partners in an apparent heel turn that might prove to be the end for one team in the company.

After Wes Lee failed to defeat Oba Femi for the NXT North American Title at Heatwave, he cut a forlorn figure as he seemed unsure what his future held but thankfully he had friends on hand to help him in his hour of need.

TNA stars The Rascalz Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz appeared to instil some badly needed confidence in their old teammate. Wentz told Lee that he was the greatest North American Champion while Miguel referenced Wentz’s time in NXT as he said Wentz and Lee were the greatest tag team ever in NXT.

Wentz – then known as Nash Carter – teamed with Wes Lee as MSK in NXT before Zachary Wentz was fired from WWE after domestic abuse allegations surfaced alongside an old photo of the star apparently doing an impression of Hitler. MSK were NXT Tag Team Champions at the time of Wentz’s firing meaning they never lost the gold.

Now with TNA’s current partnership with WWE in full flow, Wentz and Lee reunited as MSK to challenge Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team Title.

Wes Lee Ends The Rascalz Reunion In WWE

There has been simmering tension between Frazer and Axiom in recent weeks but despite that, they overcame MSK to retain their gold. After the bout, The Rascalz embraced in the ring but it was all too much for Wes Lee as he superkicked Trey Miguel before kicking Wentz below the belt, screaming at his tag team partner for abandoning him.

It is not known if Trey Miguel or Zachary Wentz will be back in NXT but it seems Wes Lee will be competing in WWE as a heel moving forward.
