WWE Star Unhappy With John Cena Line On Raw
One WWE star didn’t take kindly to John Cena’s promo on Raw.
When Raw hit London on March 31st, John Cena went to war with Cody Rhodes on the microphone. While The American Nightmare blasted Cena for being a liar and a “piece of s**t,” the 16-time World Champion hit back, claiming Rhodes manipulated his way to the top and that his ego outmatches his ability.
However, there was one line that stuck out to WWE announcer Wade Barrett, when Cena spoke about his history of being accused of “burying” talent.
“They’ve been saying for years that John Cena buries talent. I don’t bury talent, I am talent. I bury mediocrity.”
After Barrett-led Nexus made waves with their debut in 2010, the faction was infamously defeated by a star-studded WWE team led by Cena at that year’s SummerSlam. It has since been revealed that the original finish called for The Nexus to win, but Cena argued for it to be changed to him getting the victory. The incident ended the group’s momentum, and by the end of the year, they had split up. Later that year at TLC, Cena literally buried Barrett under over 20 chairs, ending their feud for good.
Reacting to the line from Raw, Barrett posted a meme showing an angry student with veins popping out of his head.

John Cena Opens Up On Skin Cancer Diagnosis
John Cena has revealed that he has had skin cancer on more than one occasion. He admits that after moving to Florida from Massachusetts, he was too stubborn to adapt to the increased exposure to the sun and so had minimal protection. This led to him developing a cancerous spot on his pec that had to be removed. The following year, he developed another spot on shoulder which he also received treatment for.
