WWE Star Could Become Triple Champion As Title Match Made

One WWE star might be looking to give Mercedes Mone a run for her money.

Mercedes Mone has twelve titles to her name, chief among them being the TBS Title. Mone will have the chance to add more gold to her burgeoning collection as she will challenge Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear.

The CEO is also part of the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions, where she is teaming with ROH Women’s Champion, Athena.

But one WWE star might be happy holding three titles simultaneously.

WWE’s Ethan Page Looking For Third Championship

Ethan Page captured the NXT North American Championship back in May when he defeated Ricky Saints for the gold. Page has now added another title to his collection as he teamed with Chelsea Green to win the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship.

At Halloween Havoc, Page picked up the win over El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr in a bout for Page’s NXT North American Title, but Wagner Jr currently holds the AAA Latin American Title. Now, by virtue of his Halloween Havoc victory, it’s been confirmed that Page will challenge for that title when he faces El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr again at AAA Guerra De Titanes on December 20th.

A win in that bout could put Page in esteemed company with another Canadian star. Lance Storm famously held three WCW Championships simultaneously, not long after he joined the company in 2000. Storm held the Hardcore, Cruiserweight, and United States Titles at the same time, giving the belts a makeover fitting of the Team Canada captain.
