WWE Star To Allegedly Get Retirement Tour Similar To John Cena

John Cena became the first WWE superstar to get a retirement tour.

If starts were to align, another superstar could get a similar run, according to former talent of the Stamford promotion, Maven.

At last year’s Money in the Bank PLE, Cena made a surprise appearance, announcing that 2025 would be his final year in the business.

Reportedly, he wanted to work 200 dates, but WWE shot down the idea, giving him 36.

Having catered to 35 dates, the 48-year-old will compete in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII on December 13 in Washington, DC, against Gunther.

Gunther was confirmed as his official final opponent after winning the 16-man ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament by toppling various challengers.

Elsewhere, Maven recently discussed another WWE superstar who could earn himself a retirement tour like John Cena.

During an appearance on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, Maven revealed his pick as Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins, absolutely. Seth will get exactly what Cena [had]. Seth like low-key is one of the best guys to ever wrestle. And we don’t fully appreciate how great he is because he’s still in his greatness (…) I speak to other wrestlers, and other wrestlers respect Seth. Other wrestlers think Seth is an upper-echelon talent. He’ll get anything he wants.

Positive Update On Seth Rollins’ WWE Return After Injury

Seth Rollins suffered a legitimate injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.

While performing a coast-to-coast spot, The Visionary awkwardly landed on his shoulder; despite feeling the discomfort, he managed to not only finish the match but win the Crown Jewel Championship.

As a result of his injury, he was betrayed by his Vision stablemates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

He was subsequently stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship due to a planned surgery.

While appearing on The Rich Eisen Show, Rollins provided a positive update, claiming that he had gotten rid of his braces, hinting at a comeback before WrestleMania 42.

You know, we’re on track. I got the brace off, like last week, middle of the last week. So, it was nice. It’s nice to walk around like a regular person.
