WWE Star Teases New Stars For Faction
For months now, MVP has been on the hunt to try and revive The Hurt Business with Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin but now it seems he may be willing to look elsewhere for stars for his group.
One of the highlights of the quickly forgotten pandemic era in WWE was The Hurt Business group which consisted of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. The group achieved in-ring success with Alexander and Benjamin holding the Raw Tag Team Title while at the same time, Lashley was WWE US Champion – but the group was not long for this world.
Before WrestleMania 37, Lashley attacked Benjamin and Alexander signalling their time in The Hurt Business was over, and bar a brief reunion later in 2021, the group has remained separate. However, MVP has recently brought Benjamin and Alexander back under his leadership but it still working on a resolution with Lashley who MVP turned his back on to side with Omos in the spring of 2022.
In recent weeks, MVP – who is still aligned with Omos – has been trying to put the group back together but Bobby Lashley remained unconvinced. Taking to social media, MVP showed that there may be other WWE stars willing to listen to him as he posed with Omos, The Street Profits, and NXT star Carmelo Hayes.
Whether or not this backstage meeting leads to anything happening on-screen remains to be seen but Montez Ford caught many people’s eye with his performance at Elimination Chamber back in February.
