Monday Night Raw announcer Corey Graves is widening his role with WWE, as he reveals he is helping the future stars of the company and returning to NXT.

Graves is a former NXT Tag Team Champion after winning that title back in 2013 with Adrian Neville – now best known as AEW’s PAC.

Speaking to Brian Jones of PopCulture, Corey Graves explained that he is doing some work with the stars of NXT again and hints that he could yet return to the ring himself:

“I’ve recently started working with the NXT talent on helping develop characters and things of that nature, and I’ve really enjoyed it thus far. So I’m really looking forward to working with NXT a lot more as the year progresses.”

“I’d like to remind everybody one more time that I have been cleared to compete and I can’t think of a better scenario for me to step back in the ring than alongside my beautiful wife.”

Graves’ wife Carmella recently returned to in-ring action on the 6th of February edition of Monday Night Raw, after six months out, winning a fatal four-way match to qualify for the women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Corey Graves was forced to step away from the ring due to injury issues, with his last in-ring bout coming in April 2014 at WWE Axxess ahead of WrestleMania 30.
