WWE Star Takes Shot At Creative

One person in WWE isn’t happy with the company’s creative output over the past few weeks.

Matt Riddle has spent the past month or so feuding with current Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and his Imperium stablemates Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. This feud hasn’t been limited to WWE’s televised shows, however, as several live events have included matches between Riddle and Imperium as well.

However, when one looks at Riddle’s televised performances alone, then it paints a different picture than when live events are included as well.

Using televised matches only, Riddle appears to have a lopsided record over the past month or so. According to match aggregating site cagematch.net, Matt Riddle hasn’t won a singles match since July 3rd when he beat Ludwig Kaiser in under two minutes.

Matt Riddle thinks it’s easier to win in MMA than on WWE programming

Following his loss to Ludwig Kaiser on the July 31st episode of RAW, Matt Riddle took to Twitter to voice his opinion on how difficult it is to win on RAW and noted that he had better luck in mixed martial arts.

“Damn it’s easier to win real fights in the @ufc than win a match in WWE #brutal #bro #stallion #ufc #WWE”

Matt Riddle returned to WWE programming in April and initially set his sights on Solo Sikoa on SmackDown. He has since transferred to RAW and found himself on the winning side of matches when teaming with the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Drew McIntyre.

When wrestling on his own, however, Riddle’s record becomes a bit more even, especially since he lost in two straight matches to GUNTHER and the only person he has managed to beat at all over the past month was The Miz, whom he defeated during a WWE live event in Mexico.
