WWE Star Looking To Take Down Michael Cole At WrestleMania

WWE Superstar Chelsea Green has set her sights on defeating Michael Cole at WrestleMania.

Green, however, may face competition to battle the veteran announcer with former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley also keen to step into the squared circle with ‘the voice of WWE’.

The 58 year-old has spent over 27 years with WWE and is amongst the select few to hold an undefeated record at WWE’s top Premium Live Event having defeated former broadcast colleague Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler by disqualification in a comical outing at WrestleMania 27.

Bayley recently took to social media to react to sign recently held up by a fan at WWE SmackDown calling for a Michael Cole vs Chelsea Green bout at the ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’:

“I don’t care what anyone says, I get Cole first.”

Cole had previously issued his own cheeky response, hinting that he would happily take the payday with WrestleMania 41 expected to pull in huge financial numbers when it eminates from Las Vegas, Nevada on 19th and 20th April 2025.

WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green was characteristically keen to have the last word on the matter, replying in blunt fashion to the highly rated announcer in a social media post of her own:

“And I’ll take the victory.”

Michael Cole Named Best Announcer By WWE Legend

For many years, Michael Cole has been seen as the main voice of WWE following the departure of WWE Hall Of Fame announcer Jim Ross in 2013.

Nearly a dozen years later Cole has firmly established himself as the company’s top commentator and will be the man behind the desk when WWE Raw makes it’s Netflix debut on 6th January.

Cole has earned the respect of his peers, with legendary former WWE Superstar Matt Hardy recently declaring him as the best announcer in the business.
