A WWE star who recently won a match on television is no longer a part of the roster, much to the surprise of his peers.

Odyssey Jones has been a part of the WWE roster since 2021 when the powerful big man was a part of NXT. In 2023, World Wrestling Entertainment moved him to the main roster during the Draft, but he didn’t appear on television.

In the month of August, Jones finally had a presence on television as part of a storyline where he was aligned with The New Day against The Final Testament group. Reed’s debut took place a whopping 462 days after he was drafted in the 2023 WWE Draft.

On the August 19th edition of WWE Raw, Odyssey Jones teamed up with The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods to defeat the Final Testament’s Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar. The story was that Kofi was very excited about Jones while Woods was reluctant about it, so Kofi had to reassure Woods that it was a good thing.

Jones did not appear on the August 26th edition of Raw although Kingston and Woods did.

Odyssey Jones No Longer Listed On WWE Roster

There was surprising news on Monday because Odyssey Jones is no longer listed on the active World Wrestling Entertainment roster page on the company’s website.

It was reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that the change surprised other wrestlers in the company.

Odyssey Jones is no longer listed on the WWE roster page. I got a message yesterday saying I should ask if there was a change in his status, but haven’t heard back from WWE yet. Talent I’ve talked to have been surprised by him being off the roster page.

As of this writing, no reason was given why Jones is no longer part of the WWE roster.

Also, Jones hasn’t been moved to the World Wrestling Entertainment Alumni section as of this writing. We will update if more information becomes available.
