WWE Star Suffers Broken Nose In Title Match
Saturday Night’s Main Event left a few WWE Superstars injured.
WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event featured two title matches. While one set up things for Money In The Bank, the other saw Chelsea Green suffer a broken nose on TV.
The Women’s United States Championship was on the line at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Former champion Chelsea Green got her rematch after losing the title to Zelina Vega on an episode of WWE SmackDown a few weeks ago.
Me tonight !!! It’s absolutely INSANE!!! I was like “Whaaat just happened?!” The ref turns to me and I thought he said “You won” but he said “Your nose is broken” and I was like “WHAT” and he said “Your nose is broken” !!!! and I was like “WAIT—EXCUSE ME?!”

The WWE championship match was added to the card a night before Saturday Night’s Main Event and it didn’t disappoint. Zelina Vega came out victorious, but in the process broke her opponent’s nose. During the closing moments of the match, the champion hit the challenger with a 619 and then with the Code Red off the top rope. It seems quite possible that Green’s nose was broken in that sequence. Fightful Select has confirmed that the former champion broke her nose during the match.
Saturday Night’s Main Event Shaped Up WWE Money In The Bank
Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Jey Uso put his title on the line against Logan Paul. Ahead of Uso’s clash, John Cena stepped up to him and said that he would enjoy wrestling more if Logan Paul beat Uso and held on to the World Title when Cena retired.
During the main event, the 17-time World Champion ran down to the ring to interrupt the referee’s three count when Uso had Paul pinned after a Splash. However, Cena’s efforts were thwarted when Cody Rhodes ran into the ring to save Uso. Before the night ended, the American Nightmare took the mic and challenged Cena and Paul to a Tag Team Match at Money In The Bank against him and Jey Uso.
