WWE Star Stands Her Ground In Transphobia Row
A WWE star has addressed accusations of transphobia.
On January 14th, the US House of Representatives passed the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act,” which prevents transgender athletes from competing in sports teams which match their gender identity at federally-funded schools.
The Instagram account, spiritualworld, posted news of the bill, and WWE fans noticed that NXT star Jaida Parker had “liked” the post.

This led to fans asking about her views, with one saying she “likes a transphobic post.” Responding to calls for context on X, Parker said people accusing her of transphobia should “educate themselves.”
“Oh I’d love too. @clotheslinings wants to be messy & that’s fine cause ignorance is contagious but what they not gon do is come @ my name cause my opinion doesn’t align with theirs & clearly don’t know how to educate themselves on the real definition of being “transphobic”. “
In a later post, Parker clarified that she supports the LGBTQ community.
“Don’t get nothin twisted. I support the LGBTQ Community but I am a woman , who ALSO played in D1 sports. & if y’all can’t understand that. idk what else to tell you.”
