WWE Star Spotted Working In New Role
One WWE star has a new role in the company, and now they’ve been spotted hard at work as they look to life outside the ring.
It was back at WrestleMania 41 that WWE announced it was completing the acquisition of Mexican promotion AAA. Since then, the sports entertainment giant has put its own stamp on the lucha libre company’s shows, and the two sides came together for the recent Worlds Collide on September 12th.
That show saw Dominik Mysterio become the AAA Mega Champion as he defeated El Hijo del Vikingo. Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana picked up a win over The Judgment Day, while Pagano and Psycho Clown retained the AAA Tag Team Championship by defeating Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston.
Shawn Michaels Spotted With WWE Star
A recent report noted that WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, is at the top of AAA’s creative structure and is supported by Jeremy Borash, The Undertaker, Konnan, and Dorian Roldan. However, there have been roles for two WWE Hall of Famers as well, with NXT boss Shawn Michaels attending shows as is The Undertaker.
Former TNA broadcaster Borash is believed to be the man running the shows on the ground, but there have also been roles given to at least one current WWE in-ring talent.
Pete Dunne is said to be working as a producer at AAA shows, and a new video released by Shawn Michaels on social media shows that to be the case, as the two men are seen in a deep discussion.
