WWE Star On Smackdown Ending – “Might Have Been Best Closing Segment In WWE TV History”

There is at least one active WWE superstar that thinks Jey Uso siding with brother Jimmy against Roman Reigns on Smackdown was an all-time great moment.

For the past three years, Jey Uso has been loyal to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as he became the “Right Hand Man” and “Main Event” Jey Uso while also having the longest Tag Team Title reign in WWE history with his brother Jimmy.

Going into the June 16th edition of Smackdown, the key storyline was about what Jey Uso was going to do. Would he side with his brother Jimmy against Roman or would he stay loyal to Roman? It took nearly two hours for us to find out, but we found out at the end of the show.

While Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa, the younger brother of The Usos) did all they could to suck up to Jey and tell him what he wanted to hear about how Roman had picked him to be the next Tribal Chief, Jey decided to go another route.

Jey looked at his brother Jimmy and said “You out” meaning he’s out of The Bloodline. Jey did a quick follow up saying “And I’m out too!” That was followed up with Jey superkicking his cousin Roman to show that Jey was loyal to his brother Jimmy.

The Usos would go on to hit a double superkick on their brother Solo and when Reigns got back, he walked right into another double superkick by The Usos. The fans absolutely loved it while Reigns was livid and poor Heyman had a stunned look on his face.

At 10 p.m. ET right after Smackdown was finished, WWE NXT superstar Dijak, who is a veteran of pro wrestling for about 15 years and a lifelong fan, had some heavy praise on Twitter for the segment.

“Honestly that might have been the best closing TV segment in @WWE history. #SmackDown”

There are likely millions of people that watched Smackdown that would probably agree with that honest opinion from Dijak regarding that ending.
