One WWE star had a big surprise for someone else on the NXT roster as they got a measure of revenge after missing ten months from the ring.

Sol Ruca suffered a torn ACL following a tag team match in April 2023 putting her on the shelf for quite some time.

On February 9th, Ruca was back in the ring at a WWE NXT live event for the first time in ten months where she teamed with Brinley Reece but that duo lost to Chase U’s Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne. Ruca has had two more matches since then but at NXT Roadblock she was back on TV.

Sol Ruca Attacks Blair Davenport After WWE Parking Lot Attack

To write Sol Ruca off TV during her injury, she was shown as being the victim of another parking lot attack by a mystery assailant. Nikkita Lyons, Wendy Choo, and Dani Palmer all suffered the same fate before Blair Davenport was revealed as the attacker.

At NXT Roadblock, Davenport took on Fallon Henley in a one-on-one match but there was a surprise waiting for her. Ruca made her way to the ring through the crowd, attacking Davenport which allowed Henley to pick up the win. After the match, Henley and Ruca celebrated together.

Sol Ruca’s return to WWE TV had been teased in recent weeks with a vignette showing a beach and “see you soon” written in the sand hinting at her comeback.
