WWE Star Sets Sights On Double Title Reign

One WWE champion is looking to add more gold to their collection.

On March 5th, WWE will host NXT Roadblock, with the show sure to have huge WrestleMania week implications. On the show, Lyra Valkyria will team with Tatum Paxley to challenge Asuka and Kairi Sane for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

The pair have only teamed together once, but Women’s Champion Valkyria is determined to get hold of another championship.

Posting on social media, Valkyria said it was only a matter of time before she became a double champion.

Elsewhere on the show, Carmelo Hayes will meet Tony D’Angelo to decide a new number-one contender for the NXT Title. Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin will also be in action as they put the NXT Tag Team Titles on the line against Chase University.

Recent WWE Match Marred By Injury

On the February 20th episode of NXT, Lyra Valkyria defended her NXT Women’s Title against Shotzi. However, the match was cut short following an unfortunate accident that saw the SmackDown star suffer a serious knee injury. Shotzi has since confirmed she’ll be out of action for nine months after undergoing surgery to repair her torn ACL.
