Top WWE Star Says Nick Khan Has Changed The Business

Nick Khan has changed the game in WWE.

Since he joined the company in 2020, arguably no one has had a bigger impact on WWE than Nick Khan. The company President has been credited with expanding WWE’s horizons and playing a major role in Monday Night Raw’s move to Netflix in January 2025. His close relationship with The Rock also helped pave the way for the Hollywood megastar to return to the ring at WrestleMania 40.

During a recent appearance on What’s The Story, Finn Balor discussed his career to date as well as his hopes for the future. Away from talking up a potential showdown with Gunther, the former Universal Champion gave special praise to Khan for how he’s changed WWE.

“The crowds are down to, obviously the storylines are great, but the business since Nick Khan came in. He’s had such an impact on the business. I pretty much feel like when he came in is when the crowds started going up and up. It’s down to a lot of business decisions and contracts he’s been setting up with different media outlets and getting us different exposure. It’s helped a lot. God knows what’s going to happen with this Netflix deal,”

Finn Balor Confirms New WWE Contract

During the same interview, Finn Balor revealed he’s recently signed a new contract keeping him with WWE for another five years. Although the former World Champion admitted it was a “weird time” before he re-signed, and he was wondering whether it might be time to move on.

Finn Balor signed with WWE in May 2014 after a title-laden run in NJPW where he also founded the Bullet Club.
