WWE Star Says Becky Lynch Will Go Down As One Of The Greats

Becky Lynch WWE

Becky Lynch is one the greatest performers wrestling has ever seen according to a former rival.

After years of toiling and uncertainty, Becky Lynch’s career exploded in the second half of 2018, with a helping hand to the face from Nia Jax helping her to superstardom.

Although already on an upward trajectory, Lynch was forced to miss a showdown with Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series due to a concussion and broken nose. During an invasion on an episode of Raw, Lynch was punched in the face by Jax leaving her unable to compete.

However, the images of a bloodied Lynch celebrating after her interaction with Jax only helped to make her star shine even brighter.

Speaking to Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Jax gave her thoughts on Lynch’s current hiatus and standing in the wrestling industry.

“Becky Lynch is going to go down as one of the greatest in our business. She has put in a lot of work and she has earned her time off. I do take a little bit of credit for being able to give her another punch to the face and squashing the shit out of her.

I hope one day, when she does come back, we get to have another face off. I don’t think we’re done with our business. We’ll see,”

Becky Lynch Remains A Free Agent

Becky Lynch hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Liv Morgan in a Cage Match on the May 27th episode of Raw. The Irish star officially became a free agent on June 1st after deciding to take a break from the ring.

Since beginning her hiatus, Lynch has largely remained out of the spotlight despite speculation linking her with a shock move to AEW. Although she’s not expected back any time soon, it’s been widely reported that Lynch hasn’t retired.

If and when the star returns to WWE she’s expected to become the highest-paid female performer in the world, eclipsing the deal signed by Mercedes Mone in AEW.
