WWE Star Returns To The Ring Following Concussion

WWE Andre Battle Royal 2023

Braun Strowman was in action on SmackDown as the WWE Draft began on the 28th of April, one week after seemingly suffering a concussion.

Strowman competed on the 21st of April edition of SmackDown when he teamed with Ricochet to defeat The Viking Raiders. The match caught attention for a botch that saw Strowman attempt to throw his partner into one of his opponents but instead just hurled Ricochet into the mat.

PWInsider reported afterwards that Strowman was believed to have suffered a concussion during the bout and was pulled from live events on the 22nd and 23rd of April as a result.

However, there was better news for The Monster Among Monsters on Friday Night SmackDown on the 28th of April when he was back in action with Ricochet once again. The two men were part of a triple threat tag team match that also featured the LWO and the Street Profits. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford picked up the win on the night the Profits were drafted to the blue brand.

Also on the show Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were also in tag team action as they successfully defended their WWE Tag Team Championship against The Usos, with Jimmy and Jey’s future in The Bloodline looking uncertain after Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa were drafted to SmackDown without them.
