WWE Star Says Returning To Company Was Never In Doubt
Despite having one of the most controversial WWE departures in recent years one star always knew they’d find their way back to the company.
Naomi and Sasha Banks infamously walked out of WWE back in May 2022 having grown increasingly frustrated with the company. Since then, Naomi reinvented herself as Trinity having a successful spell in TNA where she won the promotion’s Knockout Championship.
At the 2024 Royal Rumble, Naomi made her shock return to WWE as part of the women’s Rumble match. Since then she has been part of the SmackDown roster.
Naomi Always Planned WWE Comeback
Speaking to Going Ringside, Naomi explained why despite her controversial exit from the company she always knew she’d end up going back to the place she calls home.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but it’s been a great journey and I’m extremely excited and happy to be back. Working my way back to the top. WWE is home. It was never a doubt about returning.
It was just a matter of when and me wanting to prove some things and do some things that I needed to do for myself. I did that. I accomplished that. It was just time. I missed it so much. WWE is always family.
Naomi will team up with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 40 as the three stars do battle against The Kabuki Warriors and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL.
