Former WWE Star Returning To The Ring After Two Years
A former WWE superstar is going to wrestle again after being released by the company two years ago.
Tyler Breeze has been announced for a Prestige Wrestling match that was announced on Saturday with Breeze set to make his Prestige debut at Roseland 6 on September 1st in Portland, Oregon. He will be wrestling as Breeze.
The last time Breeze had a match was on the June 15, 2021 edition of NXT when Fandango & Breeze defeated Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, both of whom had different names at the time.
Breeze, who is 35 years old, was released by World Wrestling Entertainment in June 2021 after signing with the company as a developmental talent in 2010. During his WWE tenure, Breeze was an NXT Tag Team Champion with Fandango.
During his NXT singles run, Tyler Breeze portrayed a character that acted like an egotistical model that also had a selfie stick with his cell phone at the end of it so that he could take pictures and videos of himself on the way to the ring.
As Breezango, Tyler Breeze & Fandango competed on WWE’s main roster for a few years while also bringing their “Fashion Files” vignettes to the main roster. They were never pushed to win Tag Team Titles on Raw or Smackdown, but the team was popular with the fans.
Even though Tyler Breeze has been away from WWE TV, he is still a major part of WWE’s Up Up Down Down YouTube video game channel that is run in part by Xavier Woods, who is a close friend of Breeze. The channel has over 2.4 million subscribers.
In addition to all of that, Breeze has worked as a trainer at WWE’s Performance Center and he also has a wrestling school with AEW’s Shawn Spears called Flatbacks.
