Surprising WWE Star Wants To Replace Drew McIntyre At SummerSlam
One WWE star not expected to be part of SummerSlam has touted themselves to replace Drew McIntyre on the show.
Drew McIntyre is set to team up with Logan Paul at SummerSlam as part of a match that has received a lot of attention, as they will face Randy Orton and Jelly Roll. However, after returning to the UK to attend a friend’s wedding, Drew McIntyre was not allowed to board his flight back to the United States.
An irate Drew McIntyre explained the situation in a social media post, noting that because he didn’t have his US passport, he couldn’t board, and as a result, his match at SummerSlam is now in serious doubt.
And one WWE star is looking to take advantage of any opportunity that might arise at McIntyre’s expense.
The Miz Wants Drew McIntyre’s Spot At WWE SummerSlam
Taking to social media, The Miz released a video where he discussed the situation alongside the caption, “If Drew is out. I want in.” The former WWE Champion referenced his past with Logan Paul as he touted himself as McIntyre’s replacement in the SummerSlam match. The Miz also discussed his past with Randy Orton, reminding everyone that Orton was the man he beat to win his first WWE Championship.

It remains to be seen if WWE will need to take The Miz up on his offer, as there has been some suggestion that TKO’s power could help Drew McIntyre get back into the US before SummerSlam.
