WWE Star Relives Neck Break Near-Miss
One WWE star has shown off the terrifying moment they almost broke their neck practicing a spot for a major match.
Wrestling is a dangerous business, and these days the stars of WWE have the safety net of practicing many of their matches and big moves in the company’s Performance Center.
Tiffany Stratton recently took to social media to relive her training for a huge spot as part of the six-way ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver in 2023. The video shows Stratton being thrown off the ladder, taking one step on the top rope and then tumbling to the crash pads below in a heap.
On the original post, Stratton wrote:
Throwback to when I almost broke my neck the night before a big match. [And] guess what I tried it again and the same thing happened.

Tiffany Stratton Not Caught By WWE Stars
At Stand & Deliver 2023, Stratton was on a ladder that was pushed over, and she delivered a Swanton Bomb to several other WWE stars waiting on the floor outside the ring. Unfortunately, none of those stars really did much to actually catch Stratton, leaving her with a very hard landing.
Tiffany Stratton said she does not blame the girls for not catching her off the ladder at Stand & Deliver – though Lyra Valkyria still feels bad to this day

Tiffany Stratton has not competed in a WWE ring since she lost her WWE Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill on the November 1st Saturday Night’s Main Event. Stratton had held that title for 302 days, winning the gold when she cashed in her Money In The Bank contract on Nia Jax in January 2025.
