WWE Star Reintroduces Themselves After Recent Break-Up

Allow one WWE star to reintroduce themselves after a recent breakup.

It has not been a smooth ride for Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis in WWE. The one-time Hit Row member was released by the company alongside the rest of the group in November 2021. He returned to the company alongside stablemates B-Fab and Top Dolla in August 2022, but by that time, Swerve Strickland had already turned AEW into “Swerve’s House.”

Now in 2025, Adonis is part of the NXT roster, where he had recently formed a relationship with Karmen Petrovic. The April 29 edition of NXT proved to be the end of that partnership after Adonis scheduled Petrovic a match for the NXT Women’s North American Title. Petrovic was unprepared and Sol Ruca retained her gold. After the match, Petrovic blamed Adonis for the situation and they broke up.

This had many WWE fans worried for Adonis as releases seemed to be on the horizon. The proved to be the case with several WWE and NXT stars let go by the company, but Adonis lived to see another day as a WWE Superstar.

Ashante Adonis Sent Strong Message To WWE Opponents

Taking to social media, Ashante Adonis has now reintroduced themselves to fans ahead of his May 20 NXT match against Sean Legacy and Je’Von Evans. That message didn’t translate to success, however, as Legacy surprisingly won the match.
