WWE Star Teases Real-Life Partner’s Main Roster Debut

Could one WWE star be joined by their real-life partner on the main roster in the very near future?

Carmelo Hayes captured the WWE United States Championship from Ilja Dragunov on the December 26th 2025 edition of SmackDown. Hayes’ first televised defence of that gold came two weeks later when he put his gold on the line against Johnny Gargano.

As usual, Gargano had his wife, Candice LeRae, by his side, and LeRae tried to get involved to help Gargano pick up the win. Those efforts proved unsuccessful, and Carmelo Hayes retained his title.

Taking to social media after the bout, Gargano teased that he was not done with the champion as he shared a photo of Hayes lifting his title with the caption:

Coming back for you.

Carmelo Hayes responded, noting that he’d be happy to run it back with Gargano, but teased bringing help to deal with LeRae:

This was an NXT dream match and I actually got a lil bit of respect for you. We can run it back whenever, leave your wife in the back…or I can make a call and we can even it out

That led to Hayes’ real-life fiancée, Kelani Jordan, posting the watching eyes emoji as she seemed keen to make the step up to the WWE main roster.

Despite never being on the WWE main roster, Kelani Jordan held the TNA Knockouts Title for two months towards the end of 2025.
