WWE Star P*ssed Off As Speculation Around Future Continues
A WWE star is putting it all on the line on SmackDown.
On the November 15th episode of SmackDown, the Street Profits will challenge the Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Team Titles. But that’s only part of the story.
In recent weeks, Montez Ford recently opened up about his real-life frustration in an interview, even if Booker T thinks he needs to step things up.
The Street Profits haven’t held tag team gold for the best part of four years, and their annoyance is there for all to see. Ahead of the match, Ford said the bout is “Championship or bust,” and now Angelo Dawkins has ratcheted up the pressure further.
Angelo Dawkins Determined To Land WWE Tag Team Titles
In a new promo posted on social media, a fired-up Dawkins said he was “p*ssed off” about the pair’s recent struggles, and this time they need to step up because there can’t be any excuses.
“Four years. Four long years since we had those WWE Tag Team Championships. How many times can one team be the number one contender and not get the job done? We have to do it. We have to do it this time. There ain’t no excuses. Ain’t nothing getting in our way. Because to be real with you I’m p*ssed off. I’m p*ssed off.
I’m a man looking for vengeance and I’m willing to lie in my own grave to make you eat your own words. Friday we’re getting it done. Championships or bust. We deserve it. Myself, my brother Montez, we deserve it.
Everybody keep saying everybody deserving of one thing, that’s the word everybody likes to use. So I’mma use it. Motor City y’all deserving, y’all deserving of an ass whooping. Not those tag team championships.”
Elsewhere on the show, Nia Jax will defend her Women’s Title against Naomi. The challenger hasn’t held WWE singles gold since 2017.
