WWE Star Praised For Work Behind The Scenes

Triple H WWE

A popular WWE star is putting in the work away from the cameras.

On the October 20 episode of Raw, Maxxine Dupri pushed Becky Lynch to the limit for a second time as the champion escaped with the Intercontinental Title.

Although she didn’t get the win, the match again showed the huge improvements Dupri has made in the ring since competing for the first time in July 2023. In fact, Dupri has wrestled just 48 matches in her entire career.

During this period, Dupri has become a regular at The Dungeon 2.0 with Natalya and TJ Wilson, training several times per week.

In a new interview with Gabby LaSpisa of the Gabby AF podcast, Chelsea Green took a moment to praise Dupri for the work that she’s putting in away from the bright lights of Monday Night Raw.

“Watching her is amazing. I think it’s because she’s going to Nattie’s, she’s working her ass off every week multiple times a week. People just do not see the work that she does behind closed doors, it’s way more than I do. Way more.

I’m always like, ‘I don’t know how you do it.’ It’s amazing and at this point in your career, that’s what you have to do to succeed, you know? I was so happy that she went out there and crushed those matches with Becky and that she’ll continue to because of the hard work she puts in.”

Chelsea Green Confirms New WWE Deal

During the same interview, Chelsea Green confirmed that she recently signed a new WWE contract. According to a recent report, Green had been approached well ahead of time about a new deal, and terms were reached on a new five-year agreement.

The new contract will see Green stay with the company into 2030.

Green made her first WWE appearance in 2014, before coming fourth in the relaunched Tough Enough series a year later. However, it wouldn’t be until 2018 that she signed her first contract with the company.

Despite being called up to SmackDown in 2020, Green was released in 2021 and quickly made her way back to TNA. Fast forward to 2023, and Green returned to WWE in the women’s Royal Rumble match and wasted little time in establishing herself as one of the most entertaining and dependable stars in the company.
