WWE Star Pokes Fun At CM Punk’s Raw Visit

CM Punk

CM Punk is no stranger to headlines and he was making them again on Monday night in Chicago when he turned up backstage to WWE Monday Night Raw, despite being under an AEW contract.

CM Punk was said to have only been backstage for around 20 minutes and during that time had a brief interaction with Triple H as well as making amends with The Miz before he was asked to leave. The appearance prompted much discussion about Punk’s motives and one WWE Hall of Famer was less than impressed with the former AEW World Champion. But one WWE star had a little fun of his own as a result of the situation.

NXT star Cora Jade shared two photos on social media with Raw star Bayley, one from 2016 and one from the show in Chicago. Mustafa Ali – who is from Chicago – then shared his own picture with Jade which prompted Mansoor to try out his topical comedy shops as he replied:

“i heard u were her favorite wrestler from chicago in the building”

More seriously, Mansoor has been named in a new lawsuit launched by a former WWE writer against the company which alleges that a writer for the company pitched that the Saudi Arabian star could be holding on to a secret in a storyline that turned out to be that he was “behind the 9/11 attacks.”
