WWE Star Out For At Least Six Months
A veteran WWE superstar will be on the shelf for at least half a year with a serious injury.
The life of a pro wrestler isn’t an easy one due to the time spent away from home and all the injuries that occur in their careers. Very few wrestlers can say they have had a career without injuries.
Karl Anderson announced in November that he had suffered an arm injury that required surgery. Anderson is part of the Good Brothers tag team with Luke Gallows with the duo being a part of the Smackdown brand in 2024, but they also appeared in NXT a lot to work with younger tag teams.
During a recent episode of his Talk N Shop podcast, Anderson admitted that he will likely be out of action for another six months or more due to his surgically repaired shoulder.
“I’m at home now, obviously with my injured shoulder. I am out indefinitely for at least six or seven more months with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum.
The labrum…I think before you wondered if that was an old injury, and I have to say, it was not. It’s coming back. I’m able to [move] a little.”
Karl Anderson And Luke Gallows Are Former WWE Tag Team Champions
Luke Gallows has had multiple runs in WWE going back to the mid-2000s while also performing as Festus and even fake Kane for a short time. Gallows ended up forming a tag team with Anderson in NJPW and they were part of the successful Bullet Club.
In 2016, Gallows & Anderson joined WWE as a tag team and they went on to have a four-year run that saw them win the Raw Tag Team Titles twice.
When Triple H took over WWE’s creative team in the summer of 2022, Anderson & Gallows were back by that October and have been in the company ever since then. They were part of a stable with AJ Styles and Michin called “The Club” but WWE quietly pulled the plug on that group earlier this year.
