A WWE star has received a new character name.

On October 28, Dani Sekelsky won Season 2 of the Legends & Future Greats show by defeating Penina Tuilaepa, submitting her with The Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate finisher.

With Sekelsky now having earned an NXT contract, the promotion filed a trademark for the name Skylar Raye.

Raye is scheduled to make her first official debut on next week’s NXT, as she will go one-on-one against Fallon Henley in the Speed Women’s Championship tournament.

The tournament was officially announced last week after Sol Ruca decided to relinquish the title.

On the November 4 taping, Zaria defeated Wren Sinclair via pinfall to secure her place in the final.

Commemorating her Season 2 victory and her entry into NXT, Skylar Raye took to Instagram to officially acknowledge her new name.

Only one week remains until fans catch Skylar Raye in full glory and decide if she lives up to the hype.

Chelsea Green Humiliated On WWE NXT

It was an evening to celebrate for Chelsea Green and the NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page.

The duo captured the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title at AAA Alianzas a couple of days ago by defeating Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra.

They were in the ring with an oversized cake, but were interrupted by Joe Hendry.

The Scot expressed his desire to challenge Green and Page for the Mixed Tag Team Title. Green noted that Hendry did not have a partner, which is when he played a customized theme song.

Soon, Thea Hail emerged out of the cake, smashing a plateful of dessert on Green and ALba Fyre’s faces. Page endured a similar fate when Hendry smeared cake in his face.
