WWE Star Not Retired Despite 2 Year In-Ring Absence

WWE logo over blurred MVP

Despite not having a match in two years, one WWE star has confirmed that they’re not yet retired and looking to get back in the ring.

The last time WWE fans saw MVP compete was all the way back in July 2022 when he teamed with Omos in a DQ loss against The Street Profits.

MVP returned to WWE at the 2020 Royal Rumble after a decade away from the company and his latest run will best be remembered for his association with The Hurt Business as Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and himself ran roughshod over Raw.

MVP turned on Lashley after the former WWE Champion defeated Omos at WrestleMania 38 and the ballin’ star has been associated with the giant ever since.

MVP Looking For In-Ring WWE Comeback

MVP has now taken to social media to share a video where he discusses his workout, reveals he’ll be heading to Mexico soon for stem cell therapy, and confirms that he’s not yet retired from in-ring competition. The former US Champion captioned the post:

I’m getting ready for my stem cell therapy trip to Mexico. Getting my body ready. I want to wrestle a bit more before I hang them up for good! 🤔 What do you think?

Since losing to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash in 2023, Omos has only appeared on WWE TV three times, all as part of battle royals or the Royal Rumble match. However, the mammoth star has continued competing on live events for the company.
