WWE Star Mocks Hulk Hogan After Raw Disaster

Hulk Hogan on WWE Raw

Hulk Hogan’s big return to Monday Night Raw didn’t quite go to plan.

The January 6th edition of WWE Raw was arguably the biggest episode of the show in years. As Raw made its debut on Netflix, WWE pulled out all the stops with celebrities and Hall of Famers packed into the Inuit Dome.

However, while fans were delighted to see The Rock, John Cena, The Undertaker, and Nikki Garcia, Hulk Hogan got a very different reaction.

Appearing alongside Jimmy Hart who arrived with an American flag in hand, Hogan was heavily booed from the moment his music hit. Each line of his following promo was also met with loud disapproval while his attempts at the ever-reliable ‘cheap pop’ were met with jeers.

If things weren’t bad enough for Hogan, on the January 7th episode of The Pat McAfee Show, the WWE Raw announcer decided to have some fun at his expense. On the show, someone dressed as Hogan staged a fake press conference, and called the appearance the greatest night of his career. ‘Hogan’ then claimed he wasn’t booed at all and fans were actually chatting “Hulk Hooooogan.”

‘Hogan’ went on to say he had no idea people hated Jimmy Hart so much, calling the people of Los Angeles “liberal marks.” He then said he’d face anyone on the WWE roster before naming several Black wrestlers.

Hulk Hogan Signs New WWE Deal

Meanwhile, WWE has announced a new multi-year deal with Hulk Hogan. As part of the deal, WWE will become a minority owner of Hogan’s Real American Beer company, and its logo will be featured on the ring canvas for Monday Night Raw moving forward.

Hogan launched the beer back in June, before later promoting the product with a convicted anti-semite. At a different promotional event, Hogan made a series of racist remarks about United States Vice President Kamala Harris.
