WWE Star Missing For 9 Months Teases Title Chasing Return
A WWE star not seen on TV in nine months is eyeballing a return for championship gold.
Stephanie Vaquer’s time as a double champion in WWE is over after she defeated Giulia to add the NXT Women’s Title to her NXT Women’s North American Championship.
On the April 1 edition of NXT, Stephanie Vaquer and General Manager Ava opened the show with an announcement. Ava noted that the NXT Women’s North American Title deserved to be defended frequently so Vaquer was being asked to vacate the title. A new champion will be determined courtesy of a six-woman ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver.
Vaquer agreed to Ava’s terms on the condition that she gets to name her NXT Women’s Title challenger at Stand & Deliver. Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker both came to the ring to confront the champion and make their case for that title shot.
Zaria and Kelani Jordan qualified for the six-woman ladder match but it seems another star not seen in several months could also want in on the action.

Former Chase U member Thea Hail took to social media to react to the match for the vacant title with plenty of eyeball emojis indicating she wants to be part of that bout.

Following the demise of Chase U, Thea Hail’s last televised NXT match took place in July 2024. Hail has only had a handful of matches on live events since then leaving WWE fans wondering what her future holds especially as her teammate Duke Hudson was cut by WWE in early 2025.
