WWE Star Looks Shockingly Unrecognizable After New Look Amid Hiatus
The leader of Legado Del Fantasma is sporting a new look these days.
Santos Escobar was last seen in action during the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event, where he partnered with his stablemates against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano & Psycho Clown.
His last match on SmackDown was on May 2, where he lost to Rey Fenix in a singles match.
More recently, he has not appeared in backstage segments either, signaling a hiatus.
Meanwhile, his teammates, Angel and Berto, have been regulars on the blue brand after winning the AAA World Tag Team Championships.
Away on vacation, Escobar recently shared a picture of himself on social media looking shockingly unrecognizable.

In the photo, he’s seen sporting a clean-shaven look, which is quite distinct from his in-ring appearance.
While no official word is available on his WWE return, it will be interesting to see when that happens and in what capacity he returns.
Major Shake-Up In WWE SmackDown Tag Team Division
Santos Escobar and his Legado Del Fantasma are one of the driving forces of the SmackDown Tag Team division.
So, when he returns, he may be shocked to find out that the division has witnessed a title change.
On the July 11 episode, The Street Profits defended their tag team belts against The Wyatt Sicks.
In a back-and-forth, high-flying action, The Wyatts defeated Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford to become the new champions.
Escobar is not the only wrestler to change their looks recently. Juice Robinson made his return to AEW during the Casino Gauntlet match at All In: Texas.

Like Escobar, Robinson’s clean-shaven look is chalk and cheese as compared to his previous rugged mane.
