WWE Star Was Supposed To “Link Up” With Hulk Hogan At The Royal Rumble

Hulk Hogan was supposed to meet one of WWE’s biggest stars at the Royal Rumble.

The Royal Rumble is traditionally one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year and brings all of the company’s biggest stars, both past and present together.

While the Royal Rumble matches themselves were low on surprise appearances from legends in 2024, the card was still packed with a huge number of big names.

On the show, Logan Paul made the first defence of his United States Title, seeing off the challenge of Kevin Owens. However, his victory came via disqualification as Owens attempted to get revenge for multiple run-ins by using brass knuckles.

On a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul was joined by Hip Hop star and occasional AEW guest Rick Ross. During the conversation, the star brought up the Royal Rumble, and Paul revealed he had been supposed to meet Hulk Hogan, but he decided the timing was right so close to his match.

Logan Paul: I haven’t spoken to him yet.

Rick Ross: You wasn’t a Hulkster?

Logan Paul: I am, but I haven’t personally spoken to him.

Rick Ross: Oh, man. You gotta reach out to the homie.

Logan Paul: I know. We were supposed to link up actually two days ago [at WWE Royal Rumble] but I was just in the zone before my match. I just wanted to focus. It’s hard nah. We gotta get you in there, Rick, running ropes.

Hulk Hogan A Huge Fan Of Roman Reigns

During a recent interview, Hulk Hogan heaped praise on Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Hogan said the Tribal Chief had been taught well by his legendary father, and he had applied those lessons to his own career.

Hogan added that Reigns is of such a level and is so adaptable that he would have thrived in any era.
