WWE Star Knows They Aren’t Connecting With Fans
One WWE star has admitted they have no idea what their current character is and it’s causing them issues connecting with the fans.
Michin returned to WWE in the fall of 2022, two years after she was first let go by the company. Since her return, the star formerly known as Mia Yim has been aligned with The OC before striking out on her own. Recently, she has been tangling with WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green but it seems she might have bigger issues.
Michin Struggling To Connect With WWE Fans
Speaking on THE SPEAKEEZY podcast, Michin confessed that her low-key nature in real life might be affecting her in-ring character, something that she’s still not sure of:
That’s a good question because I don’t even know my character. I’m really bad with — I can wrestle my ass off but I know that my biggest hindrance is I have a problem connecting with the crowd because I’m still trying to figure out what my character is because in NXT, I was the gangster, hood rat chick, right?
In wrestling, you want to have you, just accelerated times 100. So they really wanted that character and I guess I dove right into it whereas now, I’m a gamer. I just wanna go home and just hang out with my dogs. I’m very low-key and chill.
